I don't care what anyone says, there is nothing masculine about walking out of Pottery Barn with four bags of presents for a "Jack and Jill" bridal shower.
Next time I'm getting a girl to come with me as a decoy.

you need to get your business started then . . . you'd never have to step inside the store, just have the woman you hire take care of it.

Dude - this is why you get married or at least a girlfriend. Girls intrinsically know this stuff and can take care of it all for you.

Jack & Jill showers are lame. I mean, they already have an event where both the man and woman go and give the special couple gifts...it's called a wedding.
I hate showers though--I'm a very party-pooper kind of friend. I'll send you a big expensive gift, but only if it means I don't have to show up and play stupid party games.
