Why is it that you only meet people who find your American accent "so sexy" is when you're leaving the next morning on a 5 AM flight?

It's not simply the sound of your accent that she's attracted to. If that were the case she'd be attracted to Danny Devito. It's the overall sound of your voice and the overall way that you're acting that she's attracted to. Maybe knowing that there's not enough time causes you to become more aloof to the outcome of the interaction.
